Mark Making 2/2

in the last workshop of the core rotation we experimented with more mark making.

This time however, we had to create our own tools to work with, which allowed us to gain a bigger and more unique range of marks.

After we’ve created our mark making tools we experimented with them by creating 5 portraits of people in the class. I really enjoyed that exercise despite the fact that it was quite messy.

To develop a bigger range of marks we then created 10 pages of different ones in order to then photocopy and use them  to create a collage portrait.

Overall, the second part of the mark making workshop was much more creative and allowed us to express ourselves in a better way.
